WHAT IF IN THIS LIFE
Now if I were to say I love you so
What would it take for you to know?
That pain is all you’ll find no need to waste your precious time
I’ve given all this bodies got to give
Just kept enough to barely live, but that wont last for long
Just till the sadness comes along
And a feeling so great I cant let go
To fall right back again, inside my hole, inside my hole
Now what if in this life, you find your self in the middle
Cold and tired and trying to help someone
Do you rise up to the cause or turn to run?
You find your self with a little, less in hand compared to every one
No guarantees the rest is going to come
Now does it really matter what I say, the words seem helpless any way
I can’t scream loud enough, the walls around are much too tough
If I could hold this world up to my heart, would its pain tear me apart?
It seams to happen any way, subsiding long enough to prey
To a feeling so great I can’t let go
To fall right back again inside my hole
With no response at all, no force to great, no hill to tall
No hill to tall
I said what if in this life, you find your self in the middle
Cold and tired and trying to help someone, do you rise up to the cause or turn to run
You find your self with a little less in hand compared to every one
No guarantees the rest is going to come
You may find it all; you can rise up to the cause or turn to run
The blinding lights in the middle giving strength to every one
